The rotary shaft seal developed by Believe uses high-temperature silicone to achieve radial sealing, while the axial sealing relies on the specific end face matching between the dynamic ring and the static ring. This shaft seal is equipped with a compressed air port, and the axial sealing effect is more reliable when the air pressure reaches 0.05 MPa or above. The housing, dynamic ring, static ring, clamp and high-temperature silicone are all designed to be detachable for later maintenance.
The dynamic ring is made of polyetheretherketone (PEEK-1000) material, and the static ring is sintered from polyetheretherketone containing zirconium oxide and polytetrafluoroethylene. These materials have excellent high temperature resistance, corrosion resistance, fatigue resistance, friction resistance and good self-lubricating properties. The dynamic ring rotates with the shaft, while the static ring relies on a specific air pressure to achieve a better sealing effect. PEEK material, whose Chinese name is polyetheretherketone, is a special engineering plastic with excellent performance. It is brown or black in color and expensive, costing hundreds or even thousands of yuan per kilogram. It has excellent comprehensive mechanical properties and can even replace traditional materials such as metals and ceramics in many special fields. It is widely used in aerospace, medical, semiconductor and other fields. The friction ring in our rotary shaft seal is made of this special engineering plastic.
Compared with traditional mechanical seals, this rotary shaft seal does not require the removal of motors, reducers and bearings when worn parts need to be replaced. Just remove the corresponding screws to separate the housing, dynamic ring, static ring and clamp, and then replace the severely worn parts. This can greatly reduce the time for customers to downtime for maintenance and improve production efficiency.
